Types of Andrea rosin:

Rosin for Solo: Draws a powerful sound from the soloist's instrument so that the solo sound is not buried in the sound of the orchestra. It has a more 'unleashed' and projecting sound

Rosin for Symphony: Maintains the player's sound in harmony with the orchestra so that the instrument blends into the orchestra. The sound is more controlled.

Andrea Rosin is powerful stuff. You only need a little. We recommend no more than 2-3 full bow length swipes to give you optimum performance and sound.
