Nilton Magic Music Stands - the choice of professionals

While we were travelling around and meeting players, one music stand was mentioned more than any other. The Nilton Magic Stand from Sweden is a lightweight professional stand that has a solid desk, yet can be quickly taken down and can be carried in it's own bag. The impact resistant ABS plastic desk even has a shelf at the bottom for all those useful bits and bobs - pencils,mutes, even small snacks. On average it takes just a few seconds to put it up and down. The desk is hinged and folds in half to be carried, and the useful shelf then contains the collapsed base. The Magic stand has it's own quick lock system for extending the anodized aluminium shaft, and the desk can be set in any position from vertical to horizontal. If you're playing outdoors then there is a useful 'anchor' which easily slots onto the base of the stand to give extra weight and stability. A useful plastic music clip - a little like an extra large clothes peg is also a handy option!
