The Cadenza bows are the top of the range bows made by Arcus and are used mainly by professional soloists. Only 7 percent of the sticks made by Arcus are good enough to be a Cadenza, and of those, the top 3 percent become Gold mounted Cadenzas, with the others becoming Silver mounted Cadenzas. Soloists chose a Cadenza because they need a bow that has excellent projection, purity of sound, agility, responsiveness and comfort. All Arcus bows are made by hand in Austria.
