Arcus design and make carbon fibre bows that not only give exceptional comfort and purity of sound, but also to avoid hand and arm fatigue and pain.
Arcus found that most traditional bows had the same base resonance as the human hand and arm and these low non-musical vibrations were responsible for, at best tiredessness in the bowing arm, and at worst inflammation over time. Arcus designed their bows to eliminate these non-musical vibrations. Many players report a more relaxed playing style and the ability to play comfortably for longer with an Arcus bow.
All Arcus bows are made by hand in Austria.
When you have your Arcus bow rehaired, please make sure that your rehairer follows the Arcus rehair guidelines which can be found on the Arcus website.
