Arcus have just launched a new range of bridges for violin and viola. For many years, Bernd Musing of Arcus has been researching and working on optimising bridges. This exciting new design is the result of his work
and many successful adjustments on both old and new instruments. The sound and playability of most instruments can be easily adjusted and optimised using these bridges.
Arcus bridges are made with the highest levels of precision for Arcus by Despiau in France.
The main features of the design are:
Specially selected wood of ideal density and elasticity
The design of the cut outs allows for all relevant adjustments
Excess wood is minimised, so that time and effort is not wasted

The design is optimised for violin bridge heights of 33mm - 35mm, and viola bridge heights of 38 - 41mm. All bridges
