Arcus Viola Allegro

The Allegro bow is used by students and amateurs or those who prefer the playing characteristics of the Veloce but need a significant upgrade in the sound. It offers a balanced sound spectrum and it's "neutrality" supports that developments of a relaxed bow arm. It has a resonance quality similar to that of the Sinfonia bows. It is a little heavier at approx 63 gms than the professional line of Arcus bows, with a weight midway between an Arcus professional bow and a traditional wood bow. The Allegro bows have silver mountings and snakewood frogs. An ebony frog may also be an option in the future. All Arcus bows are made by hand in Austria.
