A few years ago Arcus did a complete redesign of their entire product line.
Over the years they had developed innovative new manufacturing techniques and this,
coupled with a deeper understanding of the properties of their bows and the expressed
needs of the players using them, prompted their engineers to go back to the drawing board.
They realised that the knowledge they had gained over the years would allow them to take bow design
to a level of sophistication that had never been possible before. The results speak for themselves.

Arcus Violin E4 (Vega)
The E4 bow is made especially for electric and acoustic 5 and six string violins. It's designed to give a great sound across the range of the instrument,
but particularly enhancing the lower strings. It features an ebony frog and aluminium button and has a weight of approx. 60 grams. As with all Arcus bows, each E4 is individually hand crafted.

The P ~ Series for Violin
This is the perfect bow for the orchestral musician. Easily maneuverable and
strong, with a very well-balanced sound. It works fantastically on
brighter sounding instruments and for nearly every type of player. They are darker in sound than the S series, but a little brighter in sound than
the M series. They are available in round and octagonal.

The M ~ Series
A bow to feel really comfortable with. It is so easy to handle, making
it easy to execute the most difficult strokes with absolute precision.
Its rather dark and warm sound fits all instruments and blends really
well in the orchestra.
